When someone hears “the commons” here on campus, they
immediately think of food, a place to hang out and meet up with people. Specifically, the SGA Office, located on the 2nd
floor in this building, is a popular public space. Whether it’s bright and
early in the morning, during the crazy free hour of lunch time, in the evening,
or even late into the hours of the night, the SGA Office doors are always open
and there are always people in there. Students
can use the space to work on homework or just relax, faculty & staff can
use the space to have meetings, and even visitors can use the space to get a
feel of UMBC’s campus. Even though this
place is located “deep” within the UMBC campus and isn’t very well known (yet),
I recommend this place since everyone is welcome and it has many uses.

This is interesting because I have never heard of or been to the SGA office. Your description of it makes me want to check it out.
